To make a "killer" sword saw with your own hands, you will need a suitable length of a piece of metal plate about 10 cm wide. Using a grinder, divide it into three identical parts, one of which will need to be cut in half (but not along, but across).

After that, we clean one of the ends of the long and short segments with an angle grinder and connect them by welding. A similar procedure will need to be done with the two remaining strips.

Next, we clean the welds, make markings (draw the boundaries of the contour) and cut off the excess metal. Before giving the workpieces the final shape, you need to fold the parts together, grabbing them with welding in several places. Thus, during processing they will turn out to be more identical.

The main stages of work

After giving a rough shape, remove the rust with a cord brush. Next, cut the necessary piece from the band saw. To make a gradual narrowing towards the end of the blade, a small strip of triangular shape must be cut from the back of the saw.

At the next stage, we weld two parts of the saw with each other. Please note that you need to weld extremely carefully - with dots, and try not to overexpose the electrode in one place, otherwise it will burn through. Then we clean the welds and remove the rust with a grinder.

Then it remains only to weld the linings and do something like a guard between the blade and the handle, which is used as a piece of steel pipe. We paint the sword black matte or some other paint. The detailed process of making a sword, see the video on the site.
