Pizza is usually served on special wooden trays or plates, which are a small round stand that repeats the shape of the pizza itself.
You can make such a plate with your own hands. In this case, the author approached the work creatively, and made not just a round stand from a piece of wood, but an original plate "in a box".
First of all, it will be necessary to saw the wooden bars of different colors, so that there is a contrast. Then the workpieces must be sanded and glued together, alternating the bars in color.
The main stages of work
After the glue dries, we end the workpiece and level its plane. Then on a circular sawed blank into four identical parts, and glue them together with white planks.
At the next stage, we pass the glued board through the thicknesser, and then from it it will be necessary to cut a circle in size (about 40-50 cm).
The author processes the edge with a manual milling cutter, then once again it is necessary to polish the surface well. Next, you will need to saw off two slats, and glue them to the bottom of the stand.
