Various do-it-yourself paper crafts are becoming more and more popular, especially when it comes to creating an original decor for the interior. Using handy tools, you can make a unique masterpiece of "home" art, which will take its rightful place in the children's room or living room.

To make a decorative vase, you need a square sheet of colored cardboard or paper - as you like. Creative work is always interesting for adults and children, so the whole family can do real miracles from paper with their own hands.

Paper vase manufacturing process:

  1. Fold the prepared sheet diagonally and in half so that the same folds appear on each side. Then, guided “at the seams”, square the paper structure. The corners must be bent inward symmetrically on both sides and their edges fixed slightly above the center of the center line.
  2. Gently bend the upper corner down to the middle of the figure, and fold the left side in half, align along the center line and turn the "page". Align the left side in the same way, and wrap the corner down, and then turn the figure on the other side.
  3. Align the edge of the left corner along the central center line, and lower the resulting upper corner down. Try to smooth all bends with your finger or ruler. Then flip the resulting “page” and do the same.

Final stage

To begin, wrap the right edge of the figure inward, straighten the corner of the free edge, bend it down, and turn the "page". Then slightly raise the corner of the paper and tuck the left corner inward, keeping to the crease line. Your task is to make a sharp corner, as on the other sides of the figure.

The next step is to make the bottom of the future vase. To do this, bend the lower corner from two sides up, focusing on the upper side points. In the video presented, you can see in more detail how to make a vase out of paper. To complement the story exposition, you can also make an origami flower or a beautiful multi-colored bouquet.
