Do you want to make an original gift to your friend, acquaintance or relative who has a car? Then give him a stylish keychain with GOS car number. You can make this gift yourself from improvised materials.

Such a homemade souvenir can be presented for any holiday, but it does not have to be masculine (February 23, New Year, Birthday, etc.), or just to express your gratitude to a person or to make something pleasant.

What materials will be required

If you do not know how to make a key chain with a GOS number with your own hands, believe me - there is nothing complicated here. As a basis, you can use the usual plastic ruler that children carry to school. You can also take a piece of sheet metal with a thickness of 1-2 mm or a piece of plywood.

Of the additional materials for the manufacture of the keychain, you will need:

  • small stickers with GOS number (can be printed on a printer);
  • thin double-sided tape (not on a foam basis), and ordinary tape;
  • the simplest cheap solvent (you can use ordinary vodka).

All these materials are available in almost every home. In extreme cases, you can run to any hardware store and buy the missing components. They are inexpensive.

Tools

To make a keychain, you will need a file (it is best to use a file for metal), paper scissors or a stationery knife, an ordinary paint brush or a simple cotton swab to lubricate the surface of the workpiece with a solvent.

If you use a piece of plywood 5-6 mm thick as the basis, then you will need a file on the tree. All these tools can also be found in almost any home without any problems.

Process of creation

First of all, we cut a rectangular blank from plastic, metal or wood (you can also use plexiglass). We process the edges of the part with a file and sandpaper. Then it will be necessary to print the license plate number of the car of the required size on the printer, and then all the excess should be cut with scissors.

On prepared plates (on the front part) we glue an ordinary transparent adhesive tape, carefully cut with scissors and smooth it so that there are no bubbles and "waves" on the surface. Next, on the reverse side of the license plate, paste a thin double-sided thin adhesive tape.

Wet a brush or cotton swab in a solvent and degrease the surface of the workpiece (if a wooden base is used, do not degrease). Glue the number plate to the workpiece. On both sides, as well as on the sides, we cover the keychain with a thick layer of automotive varnish to make the number more convex.

At the last stage of the work, it remains only to drill a small diameter hole in the finished product for the steel chain, after which we hook the keychain to the keychain.
