The process of making a roll bending machine
First of all, in the interval from the square profile pipe, you need to drill two holes into which two long steel rods with a diameter of 8 mm are then inserted and welded at the edges. On the profile pipe, plastic plugs are installed on both sides. Next, we proceed to the manufacture of the tool bed.
In two segments of a steel corner of suitable length, rectangular slots are made on both sides along the edges with a grinder. Then the corners are clamped in a vice (moreover, two washers must be put between them to obtain a gap of the desired thickness), after which two metal pins with bearings are welded to them.
At the next stage of work, one hole must be drilled in the center of the corners to insert a previously manufactured part from the profile and two rods. Sleeves are put on the rods, which are welded to the corners. Then, rollers - bearings are installed on the ends of the rods. After grinding and painting, the manual roller bending machine is ready for use.
