Sometimes “problematic” parts with tightly seated bearings come across, and it is not possible to remove the bearing using a conventional puller. In this case, you can make a puller of a different design, which will better cope with this task.

To make a home-made puller for tightly seated bearings, you will need two pieces of a metal square (bar), two studs with wing nuts and pieces of a corner.

And first of all, it will be necessary to cut two pieces of square about 10 cm long. And then you will need to cut two more pieces from the building corner.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it is necessary to cut off part of the shelf from each segment of the corner (only on one side). Then the master makes a marking and drills through holes in two square rods and corners.

It will also be necessary to cut the threads in the drilled holes. Next, pieces of the corner must be screwed to the segments of the steel square with a bolt.

The edges of the corners should be sharpened a little with a grinder with a petal circle. And at the last stage of the work, it remains only to connect the parts with the help of studs and wing nuts. Homemade is ready, and you can get to work.
