Many craftsmen who like to do something necessary for a garage, home or workshop with their own hands often use what is at hand to make homemade products.

For example, even from a conventional (working) electric motor from an old refrigerator, you can make a very useful device.

To make a compressor for painting yourself, you will need an electric motor (in this case, the master uses the engine from the refrigerator), a manometer and various small things. Most of the materials can be found at a flea market or metal reception.

The first step is to cut off four pieces of the profile pipe, from which it will be necessary to weld a small rectangular frame. It will host all the main elements of the compressor unit.

Inside the rectangular frame from the profile pipe, you also need to weld another section of the profile, which will divide the frame into two parts. On the right side, the master welds a gas cylinder, which will act as a receiver.

On the left side of the metal frame, four holes will need to be drilled and a thread cut into them. These holes are required for mounting the motor.

The next step is to paint the bed itself and the gas bottle. Then the master installs a pressure gauge and fittings in the cylinder body. An additional hole will need to be drilled under the pressure gauge.

At the last stage, it remains to install the electric motor, connect the wires and mount the tubes through which air will flow.
