We recommend reading: how to make an artificial brick wall of wood with your own hands.

Preparation for work

First of all, the concrete surface will need to be primed. To do this, it is advisable to use a deep penetration primer.

After this, it is necessary to apply a concrete contact to the surface. Previously, the author toned it to the color of the seams, using beige and black colors.

Next, you will need to tint the acrylic facade putty with dyes. In this case, the color of the bricks should be reddish brown.

If the putty is liquid and flows beyond the boundaries of the stencil, you can add a plasticizer to it. This may be, for example, a dry reinforcing foam mixture.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, using a stencil (you can buy ready-made in a store or make it to order on an CNC machine), putty on a concrete surface.

Using a decorative textured roller (you can do it yourself), we make an invoice on the surface of the putty.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself: 7 easy ways to make a roller for decoration.

After the putty has dried in those places where there are flows, it is necessary to clean the seams with the help of sandpaper.

Then the bricks will need to be primed. The author adds a little color to the ground to give the bricks a more natural look.

Decorative brick painting

The next stage after the primer dries up is painting the brick with facade paint. For painting, the author uses a roller.

And you need to paint very carefully and only on the surface of the bricks, trying not to get into the seams themselves.

Without waiting for the paint to dry, take a sponge, dip it in the paint, and then make tan marks on the bricks.

Next, with a semi-dry roller we apply paint of a lighter shade than was previously used, trying to paint only the tops of the bricks.

The final touch is the finishing painting of the decorative surface with another color, as close as possible to the brick.

As in the previous case, you need to apply paint with a semi-dry roller, trying to paint over only the tops of the bricks.

And then it remains only to roll the brick wall with varnish for outdoor work - so to speak, to consolidate the result.
