In this review, the author shares the idea of how to protect yourself from draining gasoline from the tank of a car. To do this, you need to install simple but reliable protection.
The essence of protection is that attackers (thieves) simply can’t put a hose in a gas tank. And they can’t “get enough” of free gasoline.
To implement this idea, you will need a steel grill from a meat grinder and a clamp.
Moreover, it is advisable to acquire a clamp with a power single bolt (56-59), which is intended for fixing reinforced and thick-walled hoses.
The main stages of work
The first step is to get to the gas pipe. To do this, you first need to remove the plastic lining inside the cabin.
Next, pull off the rubber "sleeve" that connects the filler neck and gas tank. He sits tight enough, so use the WD-40 if necessary.
Inside this "sleeve", the author installs a steel grill from a meat grinder. It will need to be fixed with a power clamp. And then we return the rubber adapter to its native place.
