Using unusual materials in the work, sometimes interesting and unique things are obtained. So it happened with this candy vase, created from ordinary ice cream sticks. Not expensive and certainly an extraordinary product. And for work we need sticks and a glue gun.

Do you think it’s problematic to get sticks, or will they have to be stored long and hard? This is not so, just find the nearest small store or pavilion that sells ice cream and ask for a stick from the seller. With each batch of ice cream, the manufacturer provides wooden sticks that are simply thrown away as unnecessary.

We turn on the glue gun, it is better to work with it with gloves in order to avoid burns. On a flat surface, lay out three sticks in the shape of a triangle, at the same distance. We lay out three more on them, roughly remembering their location and glue. It should be a hexagon. Glue three sticks, increasing the number of rows. At the same time, shifting each subsequent row by a couple of millimeters.

We continue until small tips remain on sticks. Next, we will build the vase only up. You can make any height, it all depends on your desire and the amount of material.

At the end of the work, the vase can be painted or varnished, make an additional lid or decorate.
