In this review, the author shows how you can make a home-made bracket from your ordinary metal profile.

And quite reliable. Take note of this method - maybe someone will come in handy someday.

The author with the help of this makeshift bracket attaches to the base a rack assembled from profiles.

For the manufacture of the bracket, in addition to the piece of metal profile itself, anchor bolts, metal scissors and self-tapping screws (also for metal) will be required.

Instead of scissors, you can also use a dremel with a cutting disc - it will be faster.

First of all, the author cuts a piece of profile 16 cm long.

Next, you will need to make markup by dividing the central part of the profile into five identical segments.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it will be necessary to make cuts with scissors, as well as cut off the corners of the "petals".

Then we bend the edges with pliers. The result should be a workpiece as in the photo below.

Next, it will be necessary to make markings in the center and drill three holes. Then bend the edges of the profile inward.

After that, using anchor bolts, we attach the bracket to the base, insert the rack into it and twist the screws. The mount itself is pretty tough.
