What do you want most in the summer heat? Of course, cool. If there is no money to buy a full-fledged air conditioner, you can get by with a simple home-made mini “air conditioner” for the first time.
To make it, you will need a plastic canister, fan, on / off button and some other materials.
And first you need to make markings and cut two holes on the sides in a plastic canister. On one side - round, on the other - rectangular.
The main stages of work
In the next step, it will be necessary to cut off the top of the plastic canister along with the neck.
Next, an air-cooled fan motor is required. And it is necessary to screw metal brackets to the motor housing. We fasten the engine inside the plastic canister.
Before fastening the fan motor to the bolts, a metal mesh must be installed on the inside of the canister.
In the lower part of the canister, under the engine, the author fastens a small water pump. To do this, he uses hot melt adhesive.
In the place where the rectangular “window” was cut, the author fixes a special honeycomb cooling “pillow”.
At the last stage, the author cuts off a piece of plastic (polypropylene) pipe, drills holes in it and fixes it over the honeycomb pillow. Using a flexible hose, the tube must be connected directly to the water pump.
Then it will be necessary to install the on / off button and the motor speed controller. Before turning on the canister, pour a little water.
