In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make an underground drink cooler from a PVC pipe with your own hands. This idea can come in handy for those who have a private house or cottage.

First of all, the author cuts off a blank about 1 meter long from a plastic sewer pipe.

Then it needs to be cut lengthwise. Further, the author pulls the pipe on both sides with clamps and heats it with a hairdryer so that it takes shape.

The purpose of all these manipulations is to reduce the diameter of the pipe. In order not to do all this, just buy a plastic pipe of the desired diameter.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts out circles of a suitable diameter (2 cm thick) from a piece of expanded polystyrene.

We insert round shelves into the plastic pipe and fasten it to the screws. You will also need to make a cover with a handle.

After that, with the help of a jigsaw, the author cuts out windows in a plastic pipe so that bottles and cans of drinks can be put in and out.

Next, cut off another piece of sewer PVC pipe. Its end must be drowned out of polystyrene foam.

Then the author takes plastic plugs of different diameters and glues them together.

In the end, it remains only to dig a hole of the required depth, install a plastic pipe in it and fill it with earth.

A three-tier shelf is inserted into the “shaft” from a plastic pipe, and is closed with a plug from above.
