Sharma is a traditional Caucasian dish, but the combination of taste fried on charcoal, meat and juicy vegetables in it will not leave indifferent any gourmet.
To make shawarma at home, you will need the following products:
- meat;
- thin Armenian or Georgian pita bread;
- vegetables, namely juicy tomatoes and cucumbers;
- fresh parsley;
- mayonnaise and ketchup to create the simplest sauce;
- mustard, only for lovers of spicy dishes.

When choosing meat, consider that pork is ideal. Choose the part in which there is a little fat, for example, the neck or the back. You can cook lamb, only chicken is suitable from poultry meat. Do not use beef - it will be too stiff.
First, cut the meat into large pieces, then you need to cook it in one of the selected ways: either fry it in a very hot pan without a lid, or grill the grill in the courtyard and cook over the coals, or save a few pieces of barbecue from dinner the night before.
Cut the prepared meat into small pieces, do not crush it much - the taste will be lost, and large pieces will be hard to chew.
Before you start cutting vegetables, do not forget to wash them. Remove the middle from the tomato, and cut only the pulp into small pieces. Cut the cucumber into four parts and crumble not very finely.
Rinse the parsley thoroughly under water, you can not cut it, but pinch each leaf.

Spread pita bread and cut into even three parts, that is, each pita bread is enough for three shawarma. All ingredients are not applied in the middle of the product, but on the side, retreating from the edge of 5-7 centimeters. First squeeze out a strip of mayonnaise and barbecue ketchup, if you like very spicy dishes, then add the third strip - from mustard.

Start wrapping the pita bread in a tube, but first bend its lower edge so that the products do not fall out and juice does not flow out.

You get a packaged package with a delicious filling.

Before serving breakfast, decorate it with herbs. Shawarma is ready at home.
