It doesn’t matter, do not write it off to throw it away - we will give it a second chance for the quality of the spirit lamp.
What is required for this:
Two incandescent bulbs, several washers of different diameters (for forming a nozzle) and a wick or a small segment of the cord.
First of all, we separate the bulb itself from one of the bulbs, for this it is necessary to carefully remove the base with pliers, while holding the bulb in your hands it is better to wrap it with some kind of cloth, so as not to cut yourself if the bulb bursts, we knock out the box with a screwdriver the neck of the flask, you can do it more delicately and cut this place with a glass cutter. Next, we take out the spiral from the flask and pour out the remaining glass.
From the second bulb we only need a base, you can get it simply by breaking the bulb, first wrapping its cloth so that the fragments do not fly apart. At the basement, we leave only the metal part, having knocked out all the insulation, now we begin to form the nozzle of the spirit lamp, for this we take the washers and glue them together with the epoxy to the base, forming the required nozzle diameter.
It remains only to glue the base with washers to the empty bulb from the first bulb, insert the wick and make some kind of stand for the bulb, as the easiest option is to cut out a small rectangle org. glass and stick a flask to it.
As fuel for refueling, it is preferable to use ethyl sleeps, it burns without soot and practically does not leave a smell after combustion.
