With the help of this home-made device, you can easily unscrew even the most “stubborn” nuts, which are not amenable to conventional open-end wrenches. Such a tool can be made with your own hands from improvised materials.

Manufacturing process

To begin with, it is necessary to cut two strips of 1 cm wide from a square steel plate (or you can make them from other materials). Next, you need to find a metal strip in which you need to cut pentagons on the edges of the grinder.
Then you need to cut the resulting “forks”, departing from the extreme point of about 2-3 cm, and weld them together, laying one on top of the other - this will be the holder for the nuts.

Also, for the manufacture of a universal key, a stud of a suitable diameter and two nuts for it will be required. At one end of the stud, you need to perpendicularly weld a piece of steel round timber so that it is more convenient to twist and unscrew it.

Assembly assembly

Between two steel plates you need to install two nuts (at the edges) and grab them by welding. Then, on one side of the obtained workpiece, it is necessary to weld the holder. After that, simply twist the stud into the nuts - and the tool is ready.

Before using it, it is necessary to clean all the welding spots, as well as to grind the surface of the product for greater aesthetics. So easily and quickly you can make a universal key, which is useful in any garage or workshop.
