Ceramic tile grouting is a finishing operation when facing wall and floor surfaces inside or outside the premises. This is done using a special sponge made of foam rubber or other materials.
Moreover, with each next "run" the sponge should be clean. And for this, the so-called tiler bucket is used, inside of which a smooth shaft with a water and dirt remover, made of a rubber spatula, is installed.
To make a tiler bucket with your own hands, you will need a square or rectangular plastic bucket from parquet glue, PTFE or fiberglass, and a piece of stainless steel pipe with a diameter of 50 mm will be used as a shaft.
The main stages of work
From a piece of textolite or fluoroplastic (the material should be dense and not absorb moisture), we cut out the mount for the roller. We make the roller ourselves from a stainless pipe with a diameter of 50 mm - the length of the pipe can be different, depending on the width of the bucket used.
For the roller, we cut out the plugs from the PCB, which we insert into the pipe. They first need to drill holes in the center under the steel axis. Then we attach a rubber spatula puller to the base (you can use other materials).
Then it remains only to install the assembled unit inside the bucket, and then screw it onto the screws. The step-by-step process of how to make a tiler bucket with your own hands can be seen in the video on our website.
