With which tool at home can you accurately and most importantly - quickly transfer the angle to the part? You can, of course, use an ordinary protractor, but somehow it is not practical for them to work. A building angle will only measure the angle of 90 and 45 degrees. This also does not fit.

To solve this problem, you can make a universal home-made tool that is designed to transfer angles. With this simple tool you can quickly measure any angle and transfer it to the workpiece.

This tool is also called a copyist, a markup template and other "names". Although it will be right to call it a small goniometer. This is a carpentry tool for the manufacture of which you can use different materials: wood, metal or plastic. In this issue, the master decided to make a tool for transferring corners from metal.

The main stages of work

The first step is to cut off four pieces of steel strip of the same length. Then the master marks the center lines on the workpieces, and with the help of a grinder makes slots in the metal. The author removes the burrs with the help of a petal circle, but you can also do with a file for metal.

Then it remains only to connect the four workpieces to each other using bolts and nuts (for convenience it is better to use not ordinary nuts, but the wing type). Now Malka is completely ready for work.

Homemade is very simple, so make such a device for everyone. Of course, it’s easier for someone to buy. But if you like to make something with your own hands, then you will like this idea more.
