For the manufacture of a home-made "grandmother" (or as it is popularly called - beater), you will need a profile pipe 80 * 80 mm about one meter long, a round pipe, a steel blank weighing about 10-12 kg, and also a piece of a metal plate 100 * 100 mm
Please note that the main profile pipe is selected based on the size of the fence posts. For example, if you install columns from a profile of 60 * 60 mm, then a clapper from a pipe of 80 * 80 mm is suitable. If the pipe for the poles is used differently, then for the "headstock", accordingly, you need to choose the appropriate profile.
The main stages of work
First of all, the master cuts a 100 * 100 mm square from the metal strip, and then welds it to one of the ends of the profile pipe 80 * 80 mm.
Further to the resulting platform, it will be necessary to weld a blank of cylindrical shape, which is used as a load. Instead of a blank you can use something else. In the event that there are no all-metal blanks, simply weld a square "bar" from pieces of reinforcement.
At the last stage, the master cuts off two pieces of a round pipe, and we make cuts on both sides. This is necessary in order to bend the pipes at an angle of 90 degrees. Further, the places of bends need to be welded, and then the handles are welded to the profile. Homemade device is ready.
