Do you often change things in your life? Most likely, many will answer this question in the negative. And completely in vain! Sometimes even an insignificant detail can work wonders: fill life with meaning, create a positive mood, and even change the worldview.
Start with the interior of the apartment! The result of your work will delight daily not only you, but also everyone who lives with you. Let's try to realize the original idea - to make a stylish home accessory from an old coffee table.
So, let's get to work. The farm found an unnecessary coffee table with three legs - this model was very popular in the 70-80s. last century.

For decoration, we need the following materials:
• countertop from a coffee table;
• beautiful dense fabric;
• expressive lace with tassels to match the fabric;
• linen elastic;
• threads.

In the process, 2 needles (curved and ordinary), scissors, a pin and a sewing machine will be used.
1. Turn off the legs from the table.

2. We lay out the fabric on the floor with the wrong side up. We cut out the fabric in the form of a countertop so that the material protrudes 10-15 cm beyond the borders of the board.

3. We sew over the edges of the material on a sewing machine so that they do not fray during further processing.

4. We bend the swept-up edge of the fabric to the wrong side by 1.5-2 cm and bait it.

5. Using a small pin, we thread the gum into the formed furrow and slightly tighten it.

6. Put the countertop on the processed fabric, straighten the material.

7. Carefully assemble the fabric on the back side so that assemblies form, and fasten with threads.

8. As a result of the manipulations, the countertop should acquire the following form.

9. We put the fitted tabletop on the edge and proceed to sewing on the braid. This is best done with a curved needle, however, you can use an ordinary needle.

10. We continue to fix the braid, evenly distributing it along the edge of the countertop.

11. Install the decorated tabletop on the edge of the sofa. If the back of the sofa and its side parts are at different levels, it is necessary to level the height by placing a suitable wooden block on the lower edge. If necessary, we sew it with fabric and strengthen it on the surface so that it does not move.

As a result of simple manipulations, an original object appeared in the apartment, which fit perfectly into its interior. Good luck and success to you!
