From pieces of plywood, as well as scraps of the cable channel, you can make a convenient box for storing hand tools with your own hands. The box itself has compact dimensions, and therefore it does not take up much space in the workshop or garage.

First of all, it will be necessary to put together all the materials that will be used in the work process. Then you can start making homemade products.

First, you need to cut five identical lengths of cable channel. For this, the master decided to use a grinder, but, in principle, it is possible to do this with the usual manual hacksaw.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it will be necessary to cut small blocks of plywood. You can also use wooden blocks for this.

Then it is necessary to cut out three hexagonal parts from the plywood sheet, which will be the basis of the homemade product. Earlier sawn sticks are screwed to pieces of cable duct.

At the last stage, the master proceeds with the assembly of the entire structure. For fixing workpieces, the master uses self-tapping screws with wide hats. At the end, the third piece of hexagonal plywood with a hinged lid is screwed to the main box.

Now the box can be filled with tools: self-tapping screws, drills, nozzles, etc. In detail about how to make a compact box for storing tools from scraps of the cable channel with your own hands, you can see in the video on our website.
