In this review, the author shows an unusual way of joining round pipes by welding. A simple paper template is used for this.

What is the advantage of such a connection? By welding two workpieces according to the template, the connection is reliable and durable.

The author shows the application of this method in practice by the example of pipes of different diameters: 37 mm and 88 mm. Each pipe must be cut into two parts.

The main stages of work

First of all, the author draws and cuts a template for a pipe with a diameter of 37 mm. How to make such a template and what calculations need to be done is shown in detail in the video at the end of the article.

We attach the paper template to the pipe section, draw a cut line with a marker or pencil, and then cut it out with a grinder.

The same operation will need to be performed with another pipe segment. Then the two workpieces are joined together and scalded.

The author performs similar actions with a pipe with a diameter of 88 mm. Only in this case the template will be different. Thanks to the universal calculation formula, you can make a template for a pipe of any diameter.

Details about this unusual method of welding round pipes using a template can be found in the video on our website.
