In this review, the author shows how to make a really beautiful thing out of improvised materials. In this case, the door handle.

Pieces of metal, a ½ inch steel pipe, and steel wire are required to make the handle.

First of all, you will need to twist the usual "braid" out of wire. For convenience, the master uses an electric drill and a special device.

Next, cut a piece of a half-inch pipe of the desired length and wind the braided wire on it. The end of the wire must be taken by welding.

The main stages of work

The author puts on the ends of the pipe (it can be cut off from a tube of suitable diameter), compresses and welds the edges.

Then, pieces of steel bar with a diameter of 8 mm will need to be welded to these rings.

At the next stage, the author makes two decorative caps that will be installed at the ends of the handle.

To do this, nuts are welded into the half-inch pipe, and the author uses a “washer” of a metal washer between the nut and the plug.

Then the master cuts off the excess part from the round bars and welds the metal sheets.

At the last stage, it remains only to process the metal using a rust converter, then primer and paint.
