How to make a cache in the kitchen

Recently, I visited a gift shop, where my attention was attracted by a seemingly useless thing - a jar of peanut butter, empty inside. I did not understand the essence of this souvenir, but the idea came to my mind how to make a small secret box in which it would be possible to store small valuables or a money stash.

I took the idea from what I saw as a souvenir: there should be a void inside the bank. Only instead of peanut butter decided to use corn grains. My logic is simple: thieves will see peanut butter and may want to try it, and then a stash was found. A jar of corn certainly will not attract attention. You can also take any other product: buckwheat or peas.

What is required for this

Necessary materials:
  • Empty water bottle.
  • A liter jar with a neck under the screw cap.
  • Marker and scissors.
  • Bulk product to fill the free space.

How to do: step by step instructions for making a cache in the bank

Having collected all the necessary components, I did the following:
1. Removed the sticker from the bottle and dried the container well. By the way, the jar should also be dry.

2. I put the bottle upside down in the jar.
3. Along the very edge of the throat, the cans drew a line on the bottle and cut with scissors at that mark.

After that, it remains to fill the inner space between the wall of the can and the bottle. It turned out to be easy to do: a plastic bottle is unbent and even large grains can be filled freely.

Having fallen asleep all over the space, I shook the jar a bit, after which it was necessary to add more, since the large grains were well packed.
This one turned out to be a can with a secret, which is absolutely inconspicuous in the kitchen. It can store valuable jewelry, keys or money.
