Nowhere to store hardware and various small things? Tired of looking for hours to find a suitable bolt or nut in a pile of rubbish in a desk drawer?

Then we bring to your attention a simple idea - how to make a practical organizer from the remnants of a chimney pipe.

First of all, it will be necessary to cut the chimney along (not completely - only cut one wall), and then cut small wide strips.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it will be necessary to level the metal and bend the edges on the workpieces at right angles from both sides.

These will be shelves for our future organizer. Then the author fastens pieces of plywood to each shelf at the ends.

After that, the author makes a rectangular frame. It will be necessary to screw all the shelves to it. The resulting structure is attached to the wall above the work table or in another place in the workshop.

Moreover, the author mounts the organizer on furniture hinges so that you can remove the shelves, thereby saving space over the area of the desktop.

Details on how to make a practical and convenient organizer out of the remnants of a chimney pipe with your own hands can be found in the video on our website.
