To make such a neck, you need to try. Of course, such a task is not within the power of a small child, but a schoolboy may well put this bird down. The most difficult thing here is to hide the sharp corner inside the craft at the top of the figure, and in other cases you just need to follow the instructions. Moreover, it is very detailed.
Take paper thicker than regular colored paper. It will be easier for you to work with it.
Make a square out of a rectangular sheet.

Fold it vertically in both directions. Expand.

Fold the sheet horizontally, and then vertically.

Connect the sides of two opposite squares. The diagonal line between them will be inside.

You will get such a folded square.

Bend both sides to the middle.

Do the same on the back of the piece. Fold the top down.

Flatten the folds.

Lift the top sheet. There you will see the markup.

Fold the sides of the sheet inward along these folds.

Turn the craft over and do the same.

Lower the top down.

Bend the top corner one third of the distance to the horizontal line and straighten it again.

If you look at the figure from above, you will see a small square obtained from the fold.

Lock the sides with your fingers to make folds. Bend the two sides inside this square, and connect the front and back.

Fold the shape as it was before.

Take the bottom corner of the craft and open it from the bottom up.
The lower part will be forked. On the right, draw a line from the center to the lower side at a right angle.
On the left, divide the bottom corner into three parts and draw a line from the side corner through the bottom line to the midline.

Fold both parts along these lines.

Expand the right bent corner and bend it along the outlined bends inward. He will be looking up.

Turn out the left bent corner.

Iron it. Draw a line near the fold as shown in the photo. On the upper "wing" draw a vertical line.

Fold the bottom corner down and the top left.

Turn the corner around the intended folds.

Smooth.
Bend it again as in the photo.

The bottom of this small triangle should be horizontal. This is a foot.
Here is such a figure for you now.

Now lower its upper part down, as if closing it. The figure is already becoming a bit like a bird.

Pay attention to the angle where the pointer is.

He should slightly protrude beyond the upper part. This is the neck of the neck.
Make him a head. Bend, looking up, the triangle to the right.

Turn it out.

Bend the tip to it, making a beak. Turn it out too.

There are markings at the top of the figure.

Bend both sides along them towards the middle.

Turn the right side to the left, and the bent parts will be inside.

Bend the wings so that they are flush with the legs.

Your neck is ready. Complicated?
