It is a good idea to make a puller using a chain, which can also serve as a tightening clamp. The design and materials used for crafts are very simple.
The puller consists of two welded corners, which can be replaced by a channel section. A hole was made in the middle and a nut was welded for the tension pin, and cuts on the sides, which work as grippers for the chain.
Using this puller, you can not only disassemble various mechanisms, but also pull together material for welding or gluing. Using a chain makes this device universal, because if necessary it can be extended or shortened.
