Unlike stationary building goats, this design is more practical and, most importantly, is quite transportable. At the same time, you can do it yourself with your own hands in just a couple of hours.

Manufacturing process

For this home-made homemade product, it is best to use wooden blocks with dimensions of 100x40 mm, from which you need to cut four pieces of 95 cm long. After that, you need to make oblique slices at an angle of 65 degrees on each side of the resulting four bars - for this you can use a construction protractor or a special gon.
After that, having laid one bar on another using the “criss-cross” method, it is necessary to make a landing nest for the beam. A similar operation needs to be done with the two remaining blanks.

After the final fitting, it is necessary to drill in two pairs of “legs” the central hole with a 10 mm drill - for the connection, studs with a diameter of 10 mm will be used, as well as washers and nuts for them. By the way, it is best to use nuts with a rubber gasket.

The final part of the work

Next, you need to make three jumpers with a length of 70 cm from a board with dimensions of 100x25 mm. After measuring 20 cm from each pair of "legs" from the edge, you need to screw two jumpers. The third will be used as a jib, which must be placed diagonally.

For greater reliability, the "legs" of the construction goat is best pulled together with a rope. The upper central beam is made with a length of 95 cm from a wooden bar with dimensions of 100x40 mm - all basic work will be performed on it. See the detailed assembly process in the video on our website.
