Using this makeshift design, it will be much more convenient to saw thick branches for firewood using a chain electric or chainsaw than in the standard way - on wooden goats, hemp or another stand. To make a table-platform, you need affordable and inexpensive materials:

  • wooden bars for the table frame;
  • pieces of plywood 18-20 mm thick;
  • steel shaft of suitable diameter;
  • two case bearings and bolts with nuts.

First of all, from a round steel bar we grind a shaft of a suitable diameter on a lathe. In the center of the workpiece, we drill a hole to a certain depth, after which we cut the thread in it with a tap for the M10 bolt.

Sequence of operations

At the next stage of work, we make a table-platform of square or rectangular shape. First you need to assemble the frame (four legs are connected by jumpers - like a regular table), and then we cut out the tabletop from plywood and screw it onto the screws.

On one side of the table-platform frame we fasten a piece of plywood or board that is suitable in size, to which case bearings with a shaft will be mounted. As fasteners we use long bolts with nuts.

Using the fixing bolt, we fix the electric bus or chainsaw to the shaft. Thanks to this, the chain saw can be easily raised and lowered with one hand, and the other to feed branches. The process of making a homemade table-platform, see the video on the site. Write in the comments what you think about this design.
