Often relax with friends in nature and like to fry kebabs? Then you may need a camping folding grill made of a gas cylinder. For this homemade product, it is advisable to use a propane cylinder with a volume of 18 liters (you can take a smaller cylinder - 12 liters).
The first step is to cut the gas cylinder in half with a grinder. Please note that the cylinder itself must be empty and condensate drained. Moreover, any work with the use of power tools should be carried out only if the cylinder is filled with water.
First, we cut off the supporting elements in the lower part of the container, then the valve. After this, it is necessary to cut the cylinder in half, into two "troughs". To do this, do the markup first, and then just start cutting.
The main stages of work
We cut four pieces of the same size from the steel round timber, in which blind holes will need to be drilled. After that, we weld the workpieces to the lower half of the propane cylinder - these will be the “seats” for the four legs of the camping brazier.
The legs themselves are made of a steel bar of suitable diameter. First you need to determine the height of the brazier, and then cut off the grinder four legs of the required length. Since the design of the barbecue is marching, and not stationary, then the legs should be quick-detachable.
At the last stage of work, we drill holes for skewers, and also connect the two halves of the container using two loops. We weld a handle to the top of the grill to make it convenient to open, and also make a simple latch.
