One of the most popular and fastest ways to make a campfire outside the city - in nature or in a summer cottage, is the Finnish candle. There are also many ways to make a Finnish candle. The easiest option is to install several logs or logs vertically.

If long logs are used, it is advisable to fasten them together so that they do not fall. For this purpose, you can use homemade steel staples to fasten logs in the form of a Finnish candle. You can make such a device with your own hands from simple materials.

For this homemade product you will need a round steel bar with a diameter of about 8-10 mm. You can also use reinforcement or square. We take the grinder and cut six pieces 8 cm long and six pieces 18 cm long. If necessary, the dimensions can be made different.

The main stages of work

Short workpieces must be clamped in the chuck of an electric drill or screwdriver, and sharpen on an emery machine. Then we make three staples. For each bracket, two long bars and two "shorties" are required. We weld them together - for this you can assemble a simple conductor.

Then it remains only to clean the welding places, and home-made staples for fastening logs in the form of a Finnish candle are ready for use. If there is no desire to bother with welding and do everything beautifully, you can use ordinary brackets (they can be bent from any steel bar).
