With the help of a simple home-made tripod, which is easy to whip up from the remnants of PP pipes of small length, you can install various gadgets and devices in the room or on the ground: video or camera, laser level, level and others.

The construction of the homemade product is quite budgetary, while at the same time it allows you to use the cuttings of polypropylene pipes with benefit. To make a tripod you will need nine tubes 50-60 cm long (dimensions - at your discretion).

First of all, cut off the workpiece of the required length. Out of nine sections of polypropylene pipes, three legs are obtained. Due to the possibility of height adjustment, you can install the device at a distance of 50-100 cm from the ground.

The main stages of work

First, we take six pieces of PP pipes from nine and put them on one end of the coupling (using a welding iron). Then we lay three pipes in one row (in the middle is a regular pipe, which is without a sleeve).

From above we apply a piece of MDF or plywood and fix it with clamps. After that, we drill holes and cut the thread. We fasten the workpiece with screws. Similarly, we collect the two remaining legs.

We insert a long self-tapping screw into the middle PP pipe of each leg so that you can install a home-made tripod on uneven surfaces. At the last stage, you need to connect the legs to each other using three corners. See the assembly process in this video.
