The workshop usually requires high stools to make it convenient to work at the desktop. And such a stool can be made of metal - from plates and a square bar. But the author decided to make a seat out of wood and epoxy.

The result is an outwardly very simple, but still original stool, which can be put in a workshop or garage. Of the basic tools for work, you will need a grinder, a grinder and a welding machine.

First, the author decided to make a seat. To do this, he sawed round blanks from a thick tree branch. Then the workpieces must be laid close to each other in a pre-prepared metal mold. After that, the author spreads an epoxy resin with a hardener, and pours wooden mugs.

The process of manufacturing the frame of the stool

At the next stage, you can begin to manufacture a metal frame. This will require a steel strip and square bars.

First, he cuts off three identical lengths of the bar — these will be the legs of the stool. After that, you will need to cut three pieces of strip, and weld them together. Please note that the edges of the plates must be cut at an angle.

At the last stage, it is necessary to weld the legs to the base under the seat, and also to weld the jumper from the round pipe between the legs. And then the frame needs to be painted, and you can screw the seat. Previously in the plates you need to drill holes for screws.

You can watch more details on how to make a metal stool with a seat made of wood and epoxy in the video on the website.
