Almost every house has a large mirror in a wooden or metal frame. Usually it hangs on the wall in the corridor (hallway) or is in the bedroom.

The mirror has been used in everyday life for many years and is an integral attribute of the living space. If desired, you can make it more expressive in aesthetic terms. To do this, just insert it into a wooden frame with backlight.

Such a frame can be purchased in the store under the order or made with your own hands. The second option will save some money, as well as gain some experience.

The first step is to saw off four workpieces from the edged board. A wooden frame for a mirror will be assembled from these blanks. Then the master makes a marking for the installation of cartridges for bulbs.

The main stages of work

Further, according to the previously performed marking, it is necessary to drill through holes in the boards. For this, the master uses a feather drill of the appropriate diameter. Then you can start assembling the frame itself.

In addition, four wooden blocks of square section are required, which are mounted on the inside of the frame along its entire contour.

Then the master skins the frame with sandpaper, the edges are milled with a manual milling cutter. He burns the outer surface with a gas burner, after which it can be varnished or soaked in oil.

At the last stage, lamp holders are installed in the holes, after which electrical work is carried out. Then it remains only to hang the mirror in the right place.
