And in all cases, especially in the case of a glass, it is necessary to polish the end face. Although not easy to do, it is still possible. If you are wondering how to properly grind the end of a glass bottle, read on.

The main stages of work

To grind the end of the glass bottle, it is advisable to take a grinder with speed control. Glue 80 grit sandpaper to Velcro, set medium speed on angle grinder and proceed to grinding.

Before sanding, be sure to wear a mask or goggles and a respirator on your face so as not to breathe glass dust.

The most important thing - during the grinding process, try not to overheat the bottle very much, otherwise it will get chipped at the end, and your work will be in vain.

For polishing, the author uses sandpaper at 80, 120, 350 and 600 grit. Grind until the end becomes smooth. This may take some time.
