In this review, the wizard shows how to make an electric rotisserie with your own hands. An electric skewer is much more convenient than a mechanical skewer, since you do not need to constantly be near it, and the meat is fried more evenly.

To make a home-made skewer, you can use improvised materials, which allows you to reduce the cost of the cost of this design.

First of all, it will be necessary to weld a rectangular open box with a bottom, in which coals will burn. For this, sheet metal with a thickness of about 3-4 mm is suitable.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, you will need to weld the legs in the corners to this box. Their author decided to make it from a building corner, but also, for example, profile pipes can be used as legs.

After this, a rack with a platform for mounting an electric motor is made. She is welded to the box.

And on the other hand, you will need to weld another rack to fix the end of the steel rod on which the meat will be fried. The rod itself is made of stainless pipe.

The last stage of work is the manufacture of meat clamps, grinding and painting of metal and the assembly of the entire structure.
