The imitation of paving stones on a concrete surface looks no worse than a factory paving slab (provided that all stages of the work will be performed efficiently).

Among the main advantages of such a decorative coating is the durability and wear resistance. Also, weed grass does not germinate between the “tiles”, and there is no need to spend time on surface care.

Different technologies are used to implement the design idea, and in this review we will consider one of them - namely, a way to simulate paving stones on concrete using a polyurethane stamp.

The main stages of work

First, we prepare the base for pouring concrete: we install the formwork and set the beacons on the level. Next, knead the solution and fill the screed, the surface must be leveled with the rule.

Please note that the width of one section that will be poured into concrete should be a multiple of the width of the stamp. In this case, the stamp width is 50 cm, and the author makes the width of the concrete strip equal to 1.5 m.

Then you can begin to "print" using stamps. We lay them on concrete (it should grab a little), and begin to lightly stamp the sledgehammer at the edges.

In this case, you need to stand on the stamps themselves with your feet. Then you need to tap the middle. Stamps must support the weight of the person and not immerse in concrete.
