In this review, the author makes a convenient camping case from a metal canister of 20 liters. Barbecue facilities can be transported there.

First of all, we cut out a part of the side wall of the canister with a grinder. It will be the door. The place of cut needs to be processed with a file for metal or a drill.
Then the inside of the canister must be painted with spray paint. If the canister is old, then it can be painted outside.
Further along the contour of the door and the cut-out opening, the author fastens a rubber seal.
The main stages of work
In the next step, it will be necessary to connect the door to the canister using two hinges. They can be fixed with screws or rivets.
You will also need to install a metal latch so that the door does not open accidentally when transporting the case.
At the last stage, it remains only to cut out two pieces of plywood, to which all the outdoor accessories will be attached, and stick them inside the canister on silicone or glue.
