When organizing a workplace in a home workshop or garage, it is important that all the necessary tools are always at hand.

True, achieving the ideal order in the male "den" is another task. Not easy, so to speak.

In this review, the master shares the idea of how to make a do-it-yourself carousel shelf for storing tools, hardware and various useful trifles.

We recommend reading: a convenient organizer of unnecessary pieces of sewer pipe.

The most important thing is that the roundabout can be made of simple materials, without turning and welding.

Of the basic materials you will need: plywood, fixing (furniture) corners, a plastic sewer pipe and a sleeve from a bicycle wheel.

The main stages of work

First of all, it will be necessary to cut out a square plate from a piece of metal - the base for the shelf. In the center of this plate you need to drill a hole.

Further, the author makes a marking and drills the holes for fixing the sleeve at the base of the hole. Rivets can be used as fasteners.

Also, you need to drill holes in the corners of the base - for mounting the plate to the workbench.

Using a jigsaw, you will need to cut several circles of different diameters from a plywood sheet. As you might have guessed, these will be the shelves themselves.

In the center of each round shelf, cut or drill holes for the PVC pipe with a crown. The author also cuts holes of various shapes for the tool.

And to the largest, lower shelf (also in the center), it will be necessary to screw a cap for the plastic sewer pipe onto the screws.

Fixture assembly

At the last stage of the work, it remains only to fasten the furniture corners to the shelves. They are needed for reliable fixation of shelves to the central rack (made of PVC pipe).

In the workbench we drill a hole for the axis of the bicycle sleeve. Then we install it, and fasten the base to the table with screws.

We install the lower shelf and fix it with a nut. Then we insert the rack from the sewer pipe, and fix it with screws.

The author attaches plugs for PVC pipes to the bottom shelf, but other containers can also be fixed (for example, food storage boxes, etc.).

Then we install the remaining round shelves of plywood and fix them with screws.
