To create a festive mood and decorate the apartment on the eve of Christmas will help such a traditional symbol as Advent wreath. Usually it is made of fir branches and decorated with satin ribbon bows and candles, but you can create your own Advent wreath using improvised tools.
First of all, it is necessary to make the basis for the future wreath: for its production you will need several old newspapers, paper napkins, and adhesive tape.
Two thick newspapers should be rolled up into tubes and connected together using adhesive tape - this will be the frame of Advent wreath.

Then newspapers need to be pasted with paper napkins (for this purpose you can use soft paper) to give the base a more neat appearance and to avoid unwinding of newspaper pages.

So, the frame is ready and you can begin to turn it into a magic wreath. To do this, first of all, it is necessary to wrap the base with a ribbon of green organza - this will help to avoid the translucent light frame of the finished wreath.

Then tinsel is wound on top of the organza: to create a wreath, it is best to take green, with the effect of snow powder, but pure green is also suitable.

For my medium-sized wreath, one piece was not enough, so next to the first strip of tinsel I had to wind the second, while observing the direction of movement.

You can decorate the finished wreath with satin bows, Christmas beads or balls, elegant garlands or pine cones - the choice of design depends only on the imagination. My wreath is decorated with several bows in a traditional Christmas palette and a small bell.

Traditionally, Advent candles were placed in the center of my wreath: three violet and one pink. On the first Sunday of Advent one first candle is lit, on the second two, and so on - this symbolizes the growth of a joyful mood.

Making an Advent wreath with your own hands is very simple, and the atmosphere of the holiday and the warmth that he gives will be appreciated by both relatives and guests at home.
