Often, those craftsmen who use various circular, circular saws are well acquainted with such a problem as saw blade contamination. This happens for several reasons, such as the presence of resin in the tree, the presence of glue in the material of particleboard, MDF, etc. ... And as a result, the saw begins to tear edges, the cut crumbles, the disk burns and the like inconvenience.
All this by the fact that the resin or glue is taken to the cutter and envelop it. In some cases, the disc is given for sharpening, although it is quite enough to rinse it.
Most craftsmen clean their saw blades by soaking them in kerosene or gasoline for a day or more. I propose a method that will be non-toxic, faster, safer, and more affordable, since all the components are in any kitchen.

Will need

  • Dishes, in the shape of a disc or other, where you can put a saw blade.
  • Toothbrush, naturally used.
  • Baking soda.
  • Vinegar or acetic acid, which is even better.
  • A little tap water.

How to clean the saw blade

Pour soda in a circle around the disk.

We put a disk on the resulting circle of soda. Cutters should be immersed in soda.

We also sprinkle the disk along the radius of the incisors.

Just a little bit of water drip in a circle to moisten soda. You don’t need to pour a lot, otherwise the soda will blur in shape. Let’s stand for a while, 5-10 minutes so that the soda penetrates into hard-to-reach places and softens the glue and resin on the cutters a little.

After that, we take a toothbrush and begin to clean the disc with quick movements, paying special attention to each tooth.

Then, as the full circle is traversed, turn the disc over and repeat the procedure for the second side.

Next, fill everything with a bite. There is a reaction, everything will hiss for a few minutes - this is normal. Acid is good at dissolving resins.

We pour the solution into the sink, it does not need to be disposed of in a special way, this is another plus of this cleaning method.
Wipe the saw dry with a paper towel. Here is the result:

The disk has acquired its original purity and even color. All pollution disappeared, no trace was left.
