An interesting decorative element that can decorate any home are arches. Thanks to them, the interior of the room becomes not just interesting, but somehow very noble.
There are many options for materials that are suitable for creating such structures. Among them are brick, foam blocks, drywall, etc. But showing the most successful combination of quality, cost and complexity of the device are wooden arches.
For the device of such structures glued boards or blocks are used. They are multifunctional, so they can be used for a large number of tasks, including the construction of arches. The main advantage of wooden arches is that they have special locks that allow for rigid connection of elements in one structure. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the assembly process.
When creating a wooden arch, you do not need to create additional puffs. This means that the struts of the structure direct their entire weight directly to the base, which is located under them.
There are other arch options. For example, its arches can be cut directly from solid wood. But this method cannot be called simple, since the trunk can split at any time both during processing and after creating the arch. This means that the design will not work strong and durable.
An interesting way is the combination of different types of wood materials. In this case, bars are taken as the basis for which the veneer is simply glued with a convex surface facing outward. Get a kind of "veneered arch."
Although this option seems practical enough, its implementation is too complicated. Such a procedure should be taken only by those homeowners who are accustomed to painstaking and lengthy work.
