ORCHID - CHRISTMAS DECORATION FOR HAIR

There is very little left before the beginning of the New Year and it is time to think about a festive dress and a hairstyle. Recently, it has become very fashionable to decorate hair with flowers, but they are not cheap. In the master class, we propose to make an orchid flower on a hairpin with our own hands.
Materials and tools:

- apricot foamiran (Silk Suite);
- foamiran green;
-oil pastel (cuff, violet, orange, green, red, yellow);
- acrylic paint (raspberry);
- stamen;
- thin wire;
- tape tape;
- acrylic lacquer;
- second glue;
- foam sponge;
- gold and purple sparkles;
- gold paint;
- brush;
- bulka;
- mold of orchids;
- a toothpick;
- glass contour with multi-colored sequins;
- hairpin;
- iron.

Looking at the pattern of the orchid, which is presented on paper in a box for size orientation, we make templates.

Tip: cut all the details of the orchid with even edges first - it’s easier to circle and cut foamiran. Then, with nail scissors, make arbitrary lace and wavy edges.
We tint all the details with yellow pastel (draw in chalk on the foamiran).

We attach juiciness to the middle detail (lip of an orchid) - shade, without going to the very middle, with red and purple pastels.

We paint the wrong side completely, but not so brightly.
Large details (sepals and petals) are tinted with orange pastel. We apply the pastel with a sponge from the beginning of the yellow coloring to the edges with abrupt movements.

Add a little red and purple.

We tint the wrong side.

Take any stamen of white or yellow color, a piece of wire and tape tape.
Glue and wrap with tape. If the stamen was white, paint it yellow.

With the help of mold and iron we print the details.

We heat a small segment along the edge of the petal and stretch it to get a wave. We heat the middle part (lip) and push it through with a bulka. We heat the mini-part, flatten it and bend the tip.

Glue the stamen on the wire to the mini part. Still a bit tinted in red.

Varnish and dry.

The mini-detail on the bend is tinted with purple.
Rubbed with gold. We dilute a drop of paint with water and apply a sponge to the entire surface.
On the middle part in the middle we make a drop of gold and purple sparkles. Glue them on the varnish.

Optionally, you can add sparkles to the entire part, but in a very, very minimal amount. Sushim.
We glue the mini part.

Raspberry or bright pink acrylic paint using a toothpick make peas. Lightly tint the other two details.
We plant the side petals. We glue one and the second part.

Add sepals. We glue.

We look whether it is necessary to lift the leaves somewhere. If yes, then drip glue and fasten.
Cut out narrow leaves 7-8 cm long, make notches. On top of the leaves draw the longitudinal lines of yellow and red pastel.

Heat, twist and wipe with your fingers.
We fix the orchid to the hairpin. We wrap the wire and the hairpin with tape tape.

Glue the leaves. Cut a double-sided sheet and tint it.

We give the form to the leaf and close the base of the orchid with it, while wrapping the hairpin. In this way, we not only added leaflets, but also made an additional attachment of the orchid to the hairpin.
We tint the base of the leaves and the ribbon with brown or red-brown pastel.

Since we will have a New Year’s orchid (and what New Year’s without sparkles), then along the edge of all the petals and leaves we draw a contour with multi-colored sparkles. We give time to freeze.
If there is little sparkle (I want to insert a smile here), then sparkles can be added to the tips.

Gold plating and multi-colored luster on the edges of the petals gives the orchid a festive mood. On the street and in the daylight in the room, the orchid unobtrusively shimmers with golden rays, and the change of lighting to artificial gives it an incredible sparkle of small lights.
A hairpin with exotic orchid and all kinds of gilding is ready to decorate any hairstyle.
